Pranab likely to head all party delegation to JK

New Delhi, Sep 17: Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee likely to lead the all party delegation, which will visit Jammu Kashmir on Monday, Sep 20.

After the core party meeting with Congress President, Sonia Gandhi on Friday, Sep 17, Congress party sources stated that Pranab Mukherjee likely to head the team to the valley to investigate the tensed situation.

According the party sources, Home Minister P Chidmabaram will also be in the team. Earlier sources informed that Chidambaram would lead the team.

The Bharatiya Janata Party will be represented by its general secretary, Arun Jaitley. Senior leader LK Advani or party president Nitin Gadkari may be the second member.

The parliamentary affairs ministry will also be asking all political parties and groups represented in parliament to propose one member each for the all-party delegation, an official said.
