F Abdullah slams media over spreading rumours

Attacking the media, he said it plays "tricks" so that "one fellow should go down and second fellow should come up."
Following a news report that PDP patron Mufti Sayeed had met Gandhi and Singh in New Delhi in an apparent effort to revive ties, the National Conference President, Farooq blamed the media over the rumours.
After his private meeting with Congress president, Sonia Gandhi and PM Manmohan Singh on Sep 16, Farooq clearly stated, "Omar Abdullah has no intention of stepping down nor is there any such move being made."
He also claimed that visit of all party delegation to the valley would be fruitful and added, "they have to study situations at borders of the state. Integrity of the country is the most vital."
