Sibal, Yedyruppa to visit China on Sep 13

New Delhi, Sep 11: Despite the recent visa and border issues in China, Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa and 50 top Indian businessmen are heading to the Chinese port city of Tianjin for participating in the World Economic Forum's summer jamboree.

Both Sibal and Yeddyurappa will be addressing at the three-day annual meeting of the New Champions that begins on Monday, Sep 13.

Sibal will focus on the partnership with the Chinese ministry of science and technology. while Yeddyurappa will speak at the plenary session on sustaining a shrinking planet and participate in discussions on energy infrastructure, economies and the need for improved water management in Asia.

With the ministerial visit, India hopes to expand better bilateral trade with China in the coming years.
