LG unveils new smartphone, LG GT540 @ Rs 12,990

LG GT540 is the first mobile from the LG's upcoming smartphone series, LG Optimus. LG GT540 is powered with Google's Android mobile operating system. It has a 3 inch resistive touchscreen with couple of touch sensitive keys for attending, ending calls and a Home key in the center.
The features include onscreen QWERTY keypad with an option to change to standard alphanumeric phone keypad or use the handwriting boxes. The gallery section has a 3D view set up that"s visually, quite attractive and user friendly.
LG GT540 also has FM radio and supports DivX and XviD video codecs, which allows the users to copy paste videos on the drive for instant playback without any conversion. The memory can be extended using micro SD cards. It also has a hot swap micro SD card slot just under the rear panel.
LG GT 540 is available in Indian market at Rs 12,990.
