Bihar: Naxals kill 2 policemen during encounter
It was a joint operation between the Bihar Military Police, the State Auxiliary Police (SAP) and the CRPF. The operation was launched after a tip off about a possible Maoist hideout.
10 members of the combined force comprising CRPF, BMP and SAP men went missing following the encounter and it is feared that they might be kidnapped by the Maoists, police said.
According to the police sources, many of the Maoists were suspected to have been injured during the encounter, but they were taken away by their colleagues.
