Govt to present N-bill in Lok Sabha on Aug 25

According to sources the Opposition is adamant that it would not support the bill unless the contentious suppliers' liability clause is removed.
Reports further said, RJD chief Lalu Yadav and Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh will block the Lok Sabha proceedings accusing the government of doing back room deal with the BJP for nuclear deal.
The Left parties will also move three amendments to make grater liability of suppliers.
Sources say the government will bring the bill with the 18 amendments as adopted by the Union Cabinet. Indicating to the BJP and the Left that if they chose to agree they are ready to drop an amendment from Clause 17- and that government will keep 'an open mind' to considering it'.
The Government appears fairly confident that it could pull the legislation.
