New iPhone application to download TV shows

New York, Aug 11: AT&T, the largest provider of fixed telephony in the US, launched a new iPhone application that allows U-verse digital TV (TV service provided AT&T in US) subscribers to download selected TV shows.

The new application, U-verse Mobile, will allow the user to download different popular TV shows via Wi-Fi. User can't download the shows using iPhone's 3G connectivity.

U-verse Mobile also helps to remotely manage and schedule digital video recorder (DVR) recordings, view and search channel guides, bookmark favorite shows and networks for easy access later on.

For downloading and viewing these contents, users have to subscribe U-verse's U300 package or better.
