Rajasthan ex-minister got 10 crore to kill Sohrab

New Delhi, Jul 31: Azam Khan, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) witness in Sohrabuddin fake encounter case, revealed that the Rajasthan firm, RK Marbles, paid Rs 10 crore to former Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria to kill Sohrabuddin Sheikh.

Azam Khan also told that both Gujarat police and Rajasthan police were involved in the killing of Sohrabuddin Sheikh.

Sohrabuddin Sheikh, his wife Kauserbi and Tulsiram Prajapati, were picked up by a joint team of Gujarat and Rajasthan police in Andhra Pradesh on Nov 23, 2005.

Later on Nov 26, 2005 Sohrabuddin was killed in a fake encounter and his wife was killed a few days later.

Tulsiram Prajapati was killed in Dec 2006. He was the only witness to the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter in Nov 2005.

Azam Khan was the cell mate of Tulsiram Prajapati.
