No bar on BlackBerry services: Indian government
New Delhi, Jul 29: Indian government finally had put curtain on the much discussed speculation after announcing that it had no plan to ban RIM's popular BlackBerry services in the country.
Earlier on Thursday, Jul 29 the Home Ministry had told the service provider that it will have to shut shop in India unless it comes up with a way to enable security agencies to monitor data transfers on its system.
The government's move comes days after UAE raised concerns over social and security risks posed by BlackBerry services.
But India on Thursday, Jul 29 ultimately had announced that Research In Motion's popular BlackBerry services can continue its services in the country.
