Two militants killed in Kupwara gunbattle
Srinagar, Jul 22: At least two militants were killed in a gun battle with security forces in Kupwara district of Kashmir on Wednesday, Jul 22.
According to the sources,the security forces were in search of militants in the forest area. Suddenly the militants opened fire on the Indian security forces in the Rajwar forest area in Handwara, around 90 kilometers from Kupwara District.
Killed two militants, are yet to be identified by the forces.
On Jul 3, four militants opened fire on the security forces in North Kashmir"s Kupwara district, in with all the militants were killed and many AK-47 rifles was also recovered.
Among the many tourist places in Jammu Kashmir, Kupwara is known for its forest, meadows, mountains, gushing waters, and fresh air.
