Principal 'makes' boy to jump off building
Jabalpur, Jul 22: Humiliated and repeatedly scolded by principal, a student of Class XI jumped off the first floor of his school building in Ranjhi near Jabalpur on Wednesday, Jul 21.
Identified as Atul Singh, a Class XI student of Saint Gabriel School at Ranjhi, took the step after he was scolded by principal, George Joseph for some wrongdoing in the classroom.
Miraculously, he survived the fall and is admitted in hospital with multiple fractures and minor injuries to his face, hands and feet.
Following the incident, suspected Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad activists ransacked the school,
Police have started investigation in the case. Principal Joseph couldn't be contacted despite repeated attempts.
