Google to show 1000 images in Image Search

London, Jul 22: Google also agrees, 'A picture is worth more than a thousand words.' Now you can watch 1000 images in one page of Google's Image Search service.

Google announced the new changes on it's Image Search service. Now it will show up to 1,000 images per page, and text ads with images.

The new change will help the user to view 1000 images on a page and scroll through them without having to click in and out of pages.

Google has also offered new ad format, called image search ads, to advertisers by allowing them to insert an image into their text ads.

Google image search has more than 10 billion pictures, which launched in 2001 with 250 million.

"This represents the largest image search engine by far. I have been watching image search grow and grow for the last nine years since its launch in 2001. This is a tremendous rise and shows how the web overall has gotten richer and richer with all kinds of media," said Marissa Mayer, vice president of Google image search.
