Oppn calls Yeddyurappa a 'goonda CM'
Bangalore, Jul 14: Opposition added fuel to the fire with the ruling party by calling Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, a 'goonda CM' on Wednesday, Jul 14.
Siddaramaiah, the Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Assembly addressed Yeddyurappa as a 'goonda CM' and walked out of the House. He also alleged that the CM was being 'anti-democratic and fascist'.
"When I stood up to make a statement, the chief minister instigated his party MLAs to disrupt me. He is not interested in any discussion. This is fascism. Those who don't believe in democracy behave like this," he said. The Congress leader added that Yeddyurappa was conspiring with the mining mafia and also not allowed the Opposition to speak over the matter.
