Delhi: Man targets women on lonely lanes, nabbed
New Delhi, Jul 7: Delhi police has nabbed a man, who robbed women at gun point when they passed by lonely roads.
The police on Tuesday, Jul 6 identified tha culprit as Vishal, a resident of Shahdara. He was was arrested from Bhalaswa Jheel by the Crime Branch.
Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Neeraj Thakur said a country-made pistol, a stolen motorcycle and a phone have been recovered from the culprit.
Informing that Vishal has a total of twelve cases registered against him in various police stations, Thakur added, "His crimes include abduction and sexual assault, chain snatching and possession of illegal firearms. He has been in and out of jail numerous times and for the past four months he is out on bail."
