Aspiring photographers from US exhibit life of Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar, June 19(ANI): Aspiring photographers from the United States recently held an exhibition in Srinagar to exhibit different aspects of life in Jammu and Kashmir.
The group, which has travelled to countries like Egypt, Africa, Greece, and Germany, has showcased the beauty of the valley.
"Lots of people know about the conflicts of Kashmir, but we also want to show the beauty with this exhibition because there are lots of positive things about Kashmir and we want people should not be afraid to come and visit Kashmir and I will find out more about Kashmir," said Neyomi, a photographer.
Meanwhile, Obaid-ul-Haq, a local, said that the exhibition would highlight the issues that the locals face.
"We have so many issues in Kashmir and media efforts are not enough to make people aware internationally, and if you see this photo exhibition these are giving good messages about Kashmir and telling people about the internal conditions of Kashmir," said Obaid-ul-Haq, a local.
"With this exhibition our Kashmir is getting famous and its good for tourism also," he added. (ANI)
