Anderson's escape: Complaints filed against Arjun
Bhopal, Jun 15: Bhopal Gas Victims Forum registered private complaint against former Madhya Pradesh CM Arjun Singh for allegedly releasing Warren Anderson, in a local court for registration of a criminal case on Tuesday, Jun 15.
The first private complaint registered in Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) RG Singh's court demanded the registration of criminal case against Arjun Singh for allegedly allowing Anderson to leave Bhopal in a wrong manner.
A separate complaint against Moti Singh, the then Bhopal Collector and Swaraj Puri, Super Indendent of Police was also registered on the charge of maneuvering Anderson's escape.
The court has scheduled the argument on Jun 29.
Another private complaint was registered against Moti Singh and Swaraj Puri, by Abdul Jabbar, Gas Peedit Mahila Udyog Sangthan's convenor, for the escape of Anderson from Bhopal demanding registration of criminal case against them. The court argument of this complaint will be on Jun 24. After the argument, court will decide if the complaints are admissible for further hearing or not.
Shailendra Shaili, Communist Party of India's (CPI) State Secretary has filed another complaint against Arjun Singh, Moti Singh and Swaraj Puri in Hanuman Ganj Police Station accusing them for the release of Anderson and demanded registration of case against the three.
