MP speaker cries as Cong MLAs taunt BJP woman MLA

Bhopal, May 13: Disturbed by the taunted thrown by Congress MLAs at a women Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA for coming late, the Madhya Pradesh speaker wept in his chamber.

The unprecedented incident followed after Congress MLAs made derogatory comments against the woman MLA outside the Vidhan Sabha. The Congress members reportedly taunted the woman saying that she was late as she must have been busy in a beauty parlour.

The woman MP reported the incident to the speaker, Ishwar Das Rohani.

On hearing this, Rohani broke down and was reduced to tears.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shiv Raj Singh Chauhan and other BJP MLAs later consoled the speaker.
