JK: Army captain, jawan killed in gunbattle

Srinagar, May 5: In an ongoing gunbattle with militants, two army personnel including a captain and a jawan were killed on Tuesday, May 4.

The gunbattle between the security forces and the militants broke out in Chattibandi, a defence spokesperson has informed.

Army had launched a search operation to sanitise the area off militants. The exchange of fire between militants and the security personnel broke out during the army operation.

As of Wednesday, May 5 morning, the gun battle was still on.
