Kasab's sentencing on May 6

Mumbai, May 4: The quantum of sentencing to Ajmal Amir Kasab, convicted for 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, will be held on May 6.

Kasab was held guilty on all 86 charges for the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, including murder and waging war against India on May 3, by Special Judge ML Tahaliyani.

Earlier, the prosecution demanded death penalty to Kasab, terming him as a killer machine who had no remorse for his action.

"Such a monster should be given death penalty.... He is an agent of devil himself," prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam said.

Kasab's lawyer K P Pawar demanded leniency because of his age and sought life imprisonment for Kasab.
