TCS to provide engineering services to Rolls Royce
Mumbai, Apr 22: Two days after posting terrific Q4 numbers, Tata Consultancy Services announced its deal with Rolls Royce.
Under the agreement, TCS, India's leading software services provider, will be provide design and engineering services to the British engine-maker.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Apr 21, TCS that it will be setting a technology centre in Bangalore to provide design and engineering services to Rolls-Royce.
However, there was no details on the financial details of the deal.
On Monday, Apr 19 reported a massive 50 per cent net profit surge in the fourth quarter of 2010, following which the company's stock surged on the markets.
