Japanese tourist gang raped in Bihar
Gaya, Apr 17: In yet another incident that destroys India's reputation as a tourist-friendly nation, a Japanese tourist, who was in India on a tour of various Buddhist pilgrim towns, was gang raped in Bihar.
Five unidentified men reportedly pulled the 25-year-old tourist out of an auto-rickshaw and took her to the Gaya railway station, where he gang raped her on Friday, Apr 16 night.
Superintendent of police, Sushil Khopade told a news agency that the victim lodged an FIR with the Amawa police on Saturday, Apr 17 morning.
The police has detained two people for questioning. A hunt has been launched to nab all the culprits.
