Godman threatens to blow up Khajuraho flight
New Delhi, Apr 13: A self-styled godman on Sunday, Apr 11, threatened to blow up a flight bound for the temple town of Khajuraho leading to the flight being delayed for several hours, local media reported.
According to news agency report, Vishwamitra threatened to blow up the Delhi-Khajuraho Jet Airways flight after an altercation with co-passengers.
Local police said that the feud started after a woman passenger objected to the godman's 'funny' overtures.
He was taken into custody in a stopover in Varanasi.
Report said that all the 30 passengers were evacuated and the flight was searched for several hours before taking off to Khajuraho.
