US Navy Chief Admiral Roughead given Guard of Honour

New Delhi, Apr 12 (ANI): Visiting US Navy Chief Admiral Gary Roughead received a Guard of Honour in New Delhi on Monday on his six-day visit to India to explore ways to bolster naval cooperation between the two countries.

Admiral Roughead is expected to meet Defence Minister A K Antony and chiefs of the all the three Defence forces during his stay in New Delhi.

He would also visit various naval establishments in Mumbai, Karwar and Kochi and Goa. dmiral Roughead would leave India on Friday.

His visit comes in the wake of India-US naval exercise to be held in Goa from April 23 onwards. (ANI)
