Guj: 5 hurt in an explosion at steel cast factory

Bhavnagar, Apr 12: Five people were injured in an explosion in the furnace of Steel Cast factory in outskirts of the city here, police said on Monday, Apr 12.

Police said that the five men were injured when the furnace used for melting steel exploded due to some malfunction.

The victim sustained burn injuries as they were working near the furnace when the explosion took place.

Police said that the injured have been taken to a nearby government hospital for treatment.

Investigation into the cause of fire is going on, they said.
