Civic polls: Shiv Sena-BJP capture Aurangabad
Mumbai, Apr 12: Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alliance has secured a victory in the Aurangabad civic polls by claiming victory in 37 seats.
The combine's rival Congress bagged just 24 seats. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, which failed to win even a single seat in the Navi Mumbai polls, won just one seat in Aurangabad.
The civic polls in Aurangabad was held on Sunday, Apr 11 along with elections in Navi Mumbai, Ambernath and Kulgaon Badlapur.
