Maoists gun down farmer, son in Bihar
Sasaram, Apr 9: Maoists gunned down a farmer, his son after blowing up their house at Konarkhurd in Bihar"s Rohtas district, the police said on Friday, Apr 9.
"More than a hundred armed Maoists raided the house of Dadan Singh, pulled the family members out and triggered dynamite blasts to blow up the house at Konarkhurd in Chenari police station late last night," Deputy Superintendent of Police R K Mal said.
The rebels shot Dadan and son Bishambhar Singh to death, Mal said. He said that old enmity between the victims and the Maoists is suspected as the motive behind the killing.
He said that combing operation has been conducted to track down the Maoists.
