Maoists blast school in Jharkhand
Chatra, Mar 30: Maoists menace continues in Jharkhand as the rebels blasted a school building at Sohar village in Chatra district, stating that the school was allegedly being used by security personnel as a make-shift camp, police said on Tuesday, Mar 30.
Superintendent of police DB Sharma told media that the rebels set off the blast after stuffing explosive in the three-roomed school, which torn down the school building.
He said that in a leaflet left behind by the CPI(Maoist) said that the school was blown up as it was used as shelter by the police during the Nov-Dec Assembly elections.
