Cheating cases against Swami Nithyananda

Chennai, Mar 5: Despite Swami Nithyanada mission's continual assertions that the sex tape showing the spiritual guru in a compromising position with a Tamil actress is fake, police has gone ahead and filed cases of cheating against him.

As per media reports, the police on Thursday, Mar 4 filed two cases of cheating and outraging religious sentiments against the godman.

As the protests rages on in both the states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, police has taken many into preventive custody.

The ashram authorities claim that the video was a result of conspiracy and graphics, created only to defame Nityananda.

The shocking video surfaced on the media on Tuesday, Mar 2 evening, showing the Swamiji in a compromising position with a Tamil actress.
