India hands over fresh dossier to Pak on Saeed
New Delhi, Mar 3: Seeking strict action against Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed, suspected mastemind of the Mumbai terror attacks, India on Wednesday, Mar 3, handed over fresh dossier to Pakistan.
The new dossier is believed to carry more evidence against the JUD chief.
Earlier, India had expressed concern over the Pakistan inaction against Saeed and for allowing him to make 'provocative and insidious' speeches, including declaring an open Jihad against India in television interviews.
New Delhi has reportedly asked Pakistan to either hand over Saeed or take strict action against him.
A dossier concerning the handing over of Saeed was given to the Pakistan Foreign Minister Salman Bashir by Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao during their talk on Feb 25.
However, after the Foreign Secretary level talk, Bashir said that the evidences presented by India against Saeed were mere literature and the nation did not have enough evidence against him.
