'Centre willing to give autonomy to Nagaland'
New Delhi, Mar 2: The Indian Government, which held talks with Naga leaders, has offered more autonomy for Nagaland, sources said on Tuesday, Mar 2.
According to sources, Government will not integrate Naga-inhabited parts of Arunachal to Nagaland.
"It may even give a flag to the Nagas using a section of the Indian Constitution," the sources said.
However, the government has not officially confirmed this.
"The government hasn't given us any counter proposal, we have had comprehensive discussion, we will continue with the talks," said the NSCN leader.
NSCN Chairman Isak Chisi Swu and General Secretary Thuingaleng Muivah met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Home Minister P Chidambaram in New Delhi.
