Pak violates ceasefire again; jawan injured
Jammu, Feb 24: Just when India and Pakistan is all set for its Foreign Secretary level talk on Thursday, Feb 25, Pakistan has once again violated the ceasefire on Wednesday, Feb 24.
Cross border firing was witnessed along the Indo-Pak border in which one BSF jawan constable Krishna was wounded.
Informing about the firing which continued for 30 minutes, BSF official said that there was a small arms firing from the Pakistani troops on a forward post along the International Border in Samba sector.
Angry officials said that they would take up the issue of the truce violation with their Pakistani counterparts at a flag meeting later in the day.
This is the tenth time that Pakistan has violated the ceasefire along the border. The previous ceasefire violation took place on Feb 14, in which rockets were fired on Indian posts along the LoC in Poonch sector by the Pakistani troops.
