Punjab: 2 militants held with explosives, weapons

Patiala, Feb 21: Police have arrested two men for possessing explosives and weapons on Sunday, Feb 21.

According to a police official, both the arrested men belonged to the Khalistan Liberation Front (KLF), a terrorist organisation.

The police recovered nearly 8 kg of explosives and 40 gelatin sticks from their possession.

Two pistols and some ammunition were also recovered from them, the official said.

"They were planning for a major strike in the state. Further investigations are on," a police official said
