Infosys braces itself for a new board in 2014
Bangalore, Feb 3: IT major Infosys Technologies reportedly stands at the threshold of a major leadership change as most of existing board members are expected to retire in 2014.
In an interview with CIOL, Nandita Gurjar, SVP and global HRD head, revealed the company's succession plans.
"We have already got the next level of executive council in place. We started building this level two years ago in 2008. They are already being groomed for the next role almost six years before taking up the position," she is quoted as saying in the report.
Another media report pointed out the Bangalore-based company's plans to continue its iRace program.
The program makes sure that only the professionals with proven managerial skills can lead project teams leaving the staff waiting a long time for promotions
