New Delhi, Feb 2: Just hours after his expulsion from the Samajwadi Party, Amar Singh has nothing but words of appreciation for the SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Amar Singh thanked the SP chief, saying that he gave him what he had deeply desired.

"I will not say anything against Mulayamji. This is his gift to me, a blessing to me. I am blessed by him, he has given liberation to do what ever I want to do," said Amar.

Singh also sarcastically thanked the members of SP who had publicly heaped insult on him.

"I was publicly referred to as insane, shameless and scoundrel. I thank them for that," Singh said.

However, Singh expressed resentment at his unceremonious expulsion from the party.

"I had only asked for sick leave after serving the party for 14 years," he said.

Refusing to comment on rumors about him joining BSP, Singh remained tight-lipped about his next political move.

"I will not return to the party under any circumstances. I have not decided anything about my political future. I will work through Lok Manch," he said.

On the decision to bring Kalyan Singh into the party, Singh said he was not in the position to take such decision and hence he should not be blamed for it.

Putting an end to his association with SP, he said that he would not make any comment on the party from now on.
