Prabha Rau sworn-in as Governor of Rajasthan
Jaipur, Jan 25: Prabha Rau on Monday, Jan 25, sworn-in as the Governor of Rajasthan here.
74-year-old Rau's oath of office was administered by the Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court Justice Jagdish Bhalla at Raj Bhawan.
Till now, Rau was holding the additional charge of the state.
Rau was elected to the 13th Lok Sabha in 1999 from Wardha constituency in Maharashtra.
She was also the former president of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee.
