JK: Huge cache of ammunition recovered
Srinagar, Jan 24: Police have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition in Jammu Kashmir's Baramulla district on Sunday, Jan 24.
Inspector General of Police Farooq Ahmad said,"The militants had planned to use these arms and ammunitions for subversive activities around Jan 26."
"We have recovered 42 under-barrel grenade launchers, 108 grenades, two mines, four wireless sets, 26 batteries, 28 electronic circuits, 30 electric detonators, 13 mortar shells, 2,100 AK-47 rounds and more than 10 kg of RDX," he said.
The recoveries were made from Mamoosa village on specific information, the senior police officer added.
