Hungary Foreign Minister to visit Mumbai
New Delhi, Jan.19 (ANI): Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Balazs, who is currently on an official visit to India, will be visiting Mumbai for three days from January 19 to 21.
Balazs had an official meeting with the External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna today, during which they discussed bilateral, regional and international issues.
The two sides stressed on the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, IT, pharmaceuticals, auto-components, energy, defence and security, science and technology, agriculture sectors and also in consular and cultural matters, including sports. There were also discussions about Civil Nuclear Energy cooperation.
Hungary is the current Chair of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).
Balazs also met Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, during which they discussed issues pertaining to strengthening of bilateral trade and investment.
The Foreign Minister of Hungary visited Agra on Sunday and did some sightseeing in and around Delhi. (ANI)
