Bangalore: Another Wipro techie commits suicide

Bangalore, Jan 19: Another software engineer of Wipro Technologies allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday morning, Jan 19, in Bangalore, police said.

According to police, the deceased was a bachelor and was staying alone in a rented house in Ponnappan Agrahara locality of the city.

The techie has been identified as Prince Singla (27) from Rajasthan.

The incident came to light when Singla's relatives, worried over him not answering their calls on his mobile, contacted his friends.

They alerted the police and broke open the door of his house this morning only to find him hanging from the ceiling.

No suicide note was found near the body, police said.

Earlier, Lakshmi Nair, a 23 year-old software engineer hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, ended her life yesterday, Jan 18, by hanging herself at her residence.
