Kalyan Singh forms new party

Lucknow, Jan 5: Former Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Kalyan Singh gifted himself a new party called 'Jan Kranti Party' on his birthday.

Announcing the formation of his new party, the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister said that he would work as the patron of the party.

"I will work as a patron for this party. The party will be led by Rajvir Singh alias Raju Bhaiyya," Singh told reporters.

Singh was part of the Samajwadi party during the general elections 2009.
