Bhopal: Doctor, 2 others held for gangrape

Bhopal, Jan 5: A doctor along with two other men have been arrested in Bhopal for allegedly gang-raping a MPhil student of Barkutullah University.

On Monday, Jan 4, the 27-year-old woman alleged that she was drugged and raped by three people, including a junior doctor at the Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, reports CNN-IBN.

The victim has reportedly said that she was raped in the apartment of the doctor. The medical tests conducted on the victim have confirmed rape.

However, the accused maintain that they are being framed.

"I don"t even know who this girl is. We are being trapped," one of the accused Dr Raghuraj Pandey has been quoted as saying in the report published on Tuesday, Jan 5.
