Telangana disrupts Question Hour in LS again

New Delhi, Dec 18: Telangana issue once again disrupted Lok Sabha during the Question Hour on Friday, Dec 18, leading to its adjournment for nearly 40 minutes.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Congress members created an uproar in the house over the demand for the new state craved out of Andhra Pradesh.

While TDP members shouted slogans and walked into the well with placards in support of United Andhra Pradesh, the rift in the Congress party over the issue surfaced as there was one fraction raising slogans in favour of Telangana and another supporting a united Andhra Pradesh.

The pro-Telangana Congress members were stopped by parliamentary affairs minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and by his deputy V Narayanasamy from going towards the well.

Led by the commotion, Bodoland People's Front's SK Bwiswmuthiary proceeded towards the well demanding separate Bodoland.
