Kerala police nabs 4 accomplices of LeT man Nazir

Kannur, Dec 10: Kerala police has arrested four people have for thier alleged links with the Lashkar-e-Toiba operative Nazir Tarian Dabede alias T Nazir, who is right now

being questioned in connection with the 2005 and 2008 Bangalore terror attacks.

Police on Thursday, Dec 10 revealed that the Special Investigating Team, which is probing into the terror-related cases in Kerala, nabbed Muthalib and Afasal on Thursday,

Dec 10 while Rahnaz and Sharfuddin were arrested on Wednesday, Dec 9 night based on the information provided by Nazir.

The four men who were arrested reportedly attended recruitment camps organised by Nazir at Neerchal.

Nazir along with another LeT militant Siraj Shamshudeen Shamas, both from Kerala, were handed over to India by Bangladesh last week. So, with these new arrests the

number of those held has gone upto five.

Nazir who was brought to Karnataka's capital after he confessed to role in 2008 serial blasts in the IT hub is being questioned by the police from both states.
