Youngster rapes 79-year-old woman

Aizawal, Dec 8: In a shocking incident, a 79-year-old woman became a victim of sexual assault when she was targeted by a 23-year-old youngster in Champhai town.

The 79-year-old victim who also suffers from hearing impaired was allegedly raped by the man in the town located along the Mizoram-Myanmar border.

The youth has confessed to raping the woman on Monday, Dec 6 night when the victim's grand daughter was away on an errand.
