Delhi woman kidnapped, taken to Bengal and raped
New Delhi, Dec 4: A woman has filed a police complaint against her neighbour, accusing him of abducting her and taking her to Bengal where he allegedly raped her for a month.
The police on Thursday, Dec 3 said that the accused has been identified as Subhash Roy, who is absconding.
The victim has also accused Roy of stealing 80,000 from her house which she had kept for her father's cancer treatment.
The 27-year-old married woman lives in south Delhi's Amar Colony with her mother and her two-year-old daughter. The victim's husband works in UAE.
In the complaint the victim claims that Roy used to often visited her and her mother. And on Oct 28, the accused reportedly entered the house and allegedly put a handkerchief on her mouth, after which she fell unconscious.
When she woke up she found herself somewhere in West Bengal, the victim claims.
On Nov 29 when Roy left her at Ludhiana she contacted her aunt who brought her home.
The medical examination has confirmed rape and the a case was registered, the police said.
