B'lore: Civil Defence day celebration on Dec 2

Bangalore, Nov 30: Civil Defence organization is celebrating their annual day on Wednesday, Dec 2, aiming to protect people and places in Bangalore City under Civil Defence Act of 1968.

The annual day celebration will begin with a parade at 10:00 am and presentation of awards to Civil Defence Wardens who have excelled in various activities especially the FLOOD RELIEF WORK in Oct 09.

This would be followed by a pagal gymkhana for all the Civil Defence Wardens.

During the lunch a documentary film on Civil Defence which covers the activities of Civil Defence in Karnataka for the last one year.

Finally, the celebrations will be wound up a demonstration by Fire & Emergency Services. All citizens of Bangalore city are cordially invited to this function at No 1, Annaswamy Mudaliar road, Bangalore-560042.
