Madras HC judges submit statements of assets

Chennai, Nov 17: Madras High Court Judges have submitted statements of their assets to the Chief Justice, officials said on Monday evening, Nov 16.

Even, Madurai Bench submitted statements of their assets and those of their spouses and minor children to Chief Justice H K Gokhale.

Recently, Justice Gokhale said that most of the Judges had handed over their declarations, which would be put on the High Court website during the course of this week.

On Sep 3, Gokhale had announced that a full court meeting had resolved that the Judges would declare their assets by Oct 31. The deadline was later extended to Nov 15.
