Hostel for pooches in Bihar to ease dog owners' worries

Sonepur (Bihar), Nov 13 (ANI): A hostel for pooches in the Sonepur region of Bihar has solved the problems of pet owners looking for a place where they can leave their pets when absent.

Claiming to be the first such centre, 'Pedigree Kennel' in Sonepur region, offers a host of facilities apart from providing a shelter to the dogs in their owner's absence.

From a beauty parlour, to a health care centre, Pedigree Kennel seems to be a one-stop shop for dog owners.

"If somebody has to go outside for long period, then they are faced with a problem where to leave their dogs. So, they can come and leave their pets with us. We will look after them and charge the rent.

There is a beauty parlour as well, where we groom the dogs. From cutting their hair to trimming their nails and cleaning everything is done there. We also tell the owners how to keep their dogs healthy as dogs get most number of bacterial diseases," said Gajendra, owner, Pedigree Kennel.

The pet owners are very happy with the centre.

"We are very happy that such a hostel and breeding centre has opened in Bihar. I'm leaving my dog here as I'm going out for about ten days," said Dharmendra Singh, a dog owner.

Pedigree Kennel also serves as a breeding centre.

The centre has its own website, providing people help and assistance at just one click. (ANI)
