Delhi metro stalled for over 1 hour
New Delhi, Nov 9: Delhi Metro passengers had quite a chaotic Sunday, as hundreds of passengers got stranded for more than an hour after a train got stuck between Rajiv Chowk and Ramakrishna Ashram Marg stations at around 3.15 pm on Nov 8 .
The non-availability of train for over an hour aggravated the situation as angry passengers queued up at the ticker counter demanding the refunding of their money.
"There was no information as to what has happened. There were announcements that there will be delay. But no one told us that a train got stuck next to the station," a passenger said.
The station was closed down for sometime by CISF as services on the over-crowded Dwarka Sector 9-Yamuna Bank were disrupted.
However train service returned to normalcy after Line 3, on which the train was stranded, was restored by 5.00 pm.
