Court gives nod for narco test of Kobad Ghandy
New Delhi, Oct 31: A city court has allowed the plea of the Delhi Police for conducting the narco-analysis test on the top Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) leader Khobad Ghandy.
Chief metropolitan magistrate Kaveri Baweja took this decision on Saturday, Oct 31 after a panel of doctors from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) submitted a medical report clearing Ghandy for the narco test.
About a week ago, the court had asked the doctors to check if the Maoist leader was medically fit to undergo the test after the police submitted an application for conducting the narco-analysis on the detained Maoist leader as they failed to get any information from him.
