India not satisfied with Pak's action on 26/11: PM
Srinagar, Oct 29: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday, Oct 29, made it clear that India was not satisfied with the action taken by Pakistan against the Mumbai terror attackers.
Addressing a news conference here, Manmohan Singh said, "We are not satisfied. That goes without saying. We hope Pakistan will take effective measures to bring to justice all the perpetrators of 26/11,"
Singh also denied Islamabad's allegation that India was supporting the insurgency in Balochistan and the Taliban to destabilise Pakistan.
"What was said about the Indian role in Balochistan has no basis. Those who are levelling these false charges know it jolly well. The same applies to the accusation of India supporting the Taliban, " Singh said.
"We are victims of terrorism aided and abetted from the Pakistan side. Both references to Balochistan and what is said about Taliban are widely false," he said.
Marking the end of his two-day visit to Jammu Kashmir, Manmohan Singh also asked Islamists in the state to give up the gun and come forward for talks to resolve the problems.
